Brief no.4 Fashion student collab

Looking at black and white imagery within editorial, I'm liking the monochrome imagery as it suits Naomis concept for her collection, having them printed onto a thin stock for the content of the book would be a nice idea, so that the images would show through the paper slightly, giving a layerd look to the book as a whole, this would be appropriate as another concept for her garments was layering the clothes.

this image leaking over onto the next page is nice

having minimal type next to the image on another stock is also nice

having an image taking up the whole page, leaking over the crop marks is also another idea for some of the pages within her look book, giving diversity to each page but keeping it simple at the same time

although i don't really want to have large type, i like how the opacity of the image and the type overlays each other on this piece on edirotial cover, i could print onto acetate or a really thin stock to create this effect, but using the stock to create opacity and not a digital tool, so that smaller text could be readable.

I like how the type is displayed on this image, i could use white text over a darker image depending on what type of backdrop naomi chooses for her shoot.

Layering images digitally could also be a possibility, this also depends on what images i have to work with after the shoot.
