As i want to include a poster in the pack as promotional material, so i think im going to use newsprint to print onto as i think it might give the pack an organic feel

Today i went to canal mills by myself with my camera and took shots of the venue for the graduate fashion show, i felt we needed these images to plan out design focus in general, these photos can be used within the cookbook, promotional material, for mock ups and to give us a feel for the venue,

Like the example below i want to produce some packaging for naomis garments and screen print her logo repeatedly onto white tissue paper.

A set of small books, i like the use of colour and bold simple type on the front, i might use block colour similar to this when making design decisions for print

Again researching into different peices of design in a set or package, i need to think about how it will be held togeter and easily distributed to my audience

Looking at different sets of design together as a pack, i like the use of colour in this one, it is simple yet eye catching

Design inspiration, i like the small sized book with bold type on the colourful illustrations, the image makes it obvious what the peice of editorial is about

As  a set for Naomis branding and identity i have decided that i want a smallish thin look book, which is interactive as each page is removable, the book will be held together with a piece of white elastic at the top wrapped around half circles from a hole punch at each side, like the example and sketch below, and as a piece of promotional material a large poster with photographs of her garments on which folds into an A5 booklet.

I felt it needed the a large scale poster to accompany the small look book to give naomis branding more of a range as a whole.

The poster will be printed onto newsprint to portray one of naomis concepts of layers as the stock would be slightly opaque.
